My father and I have been coming every year to the Grass River / Kississing Lake area for the past twenty years. Our party has grown steadily to include my brothers in law, sons, friends, and cousins, so that now there are usually 10 to 12 of us. Everyone who comes with us once always looks forward to returning on this annual outing.

We have come to know Tim and Val Matheson very well. They have become far more to us than just fishing guide or innkeepers, they have become among our best friends. The atmosphere they maintain is simple and casual, and staying there is a weeklong party for all of us.

Fishing Kississing Lake is generally very good, in terms of good sizes and numbers of fish. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Regardless of great fishing days or slow fishing days, fishing with Tim and his guides is always an experience. We will keep coming back.
